Service Loaner Fleet Specialist Burns Hyundai is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented professional to take ownership of our Service Loaner Vehicle Fleet.The Service Loaner Fleet Specialist will be responsible for managing the day-to-day administration, utilization, compliance and performance of a substantial fleet of Hyundai vehicles used to provide courtesy transportation to our qualified service customersAutomotive dealership experience is helpful, but it is not required. We are more interested in finding someone with the right aptitude, organization, computer skills, judgment and follow-through. Burns Hyundai will provide a structured training and development program covering the Hyundai systems, processes and procedures necessary to become successful in the position. You will become the primary owner of our service loaner fleet operation, including: Managing vehicle availability, assignments, returns and fleet status. Becoming proficient with Hyundai's TSD fleet-management system and related dealership systems. Monitoring fleet utilization and identifying opportunities to improve performance. Tracking vehicles that are due back, overdue, idle, in maintenance or approaching removal from the fleet. Maintaining accurate customer agreements, vehicle records and required documentation. Coordinating vehicle maintenance, recalls, repairs and damage resolution. Ensuring loaner vehicles are properly prepared and available for customers. Working with our Warranty Department to help ensure eligible Hyundai rental reimbursement is properly documented and recovered. Managing and controlling third-party rental usage when dealership loaner vehicles are unavailable. Coordinating insurance and damage claims when necessary. Managing vehicles through their complete lifecycle-from entering the loaner fleet through eventual transfer into used-vehicle inventory. Providing management with clear reporting on fleet performance, exceptions and issues requiring attention. The strongest candidate will be someone who: Is exceptionally organized and detail-oriented. Enjoys bringing order and structure to a busy operation. Learns new computer systems quickly. Is comfortable working with reports, dashboards and data. Can manage many open items simultaneously without losing track of them. Has strong follow-through and takes personal ownership of results. Is comfortable communicating with customers as well as employees and managers. Can identify a problem, determine what needs to happen next and follow it through to completion. Is comfortable holding others-and themselves-accountable to an established process. Experience in automotive dealerships, rental vehicles, fleet administration, insurance, logistics, claims, service operations or another process-driven administrative environment is valuable, but not required. A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record are required. TSD fleet-management software. Hyundai WebDCS. Insurance and claims procedures. Customer rental documentation. Fleet utilization and performance management. Hyundai rental reimbursement. Vehicle maintenance and recall management. Burns Hyundai's internal Service, Sales and Accounting processes. Our objective is not simply to teach someone how to process paperwork. It is to develop someone who can independently own and improve the operation. How Success Will Be Measured: Success will include maintaining an accurate and compliant fleet, achieving strong vehicle utilization, controlling overdue and idle vehicles, minimizing unnecessary outside-rental expense, capturing legitimate Hyundai reimbursement, maintaining vehicle readiness and moving vehicles efficiently from loaner service into retail inventory.
