Service Coordinator/Dispatcher - 2nd Shift

Lowell Fleet, a heavy-duty towing and repair shop, is looking for a Service Coordinator/Dispatch to join the team. This is a high-demand, fast-paced job that requires someone who is an expert multi-tasker and can work under pressure. This position frequently involves answering multiple phone lines, managing several simultaneous work orders and drivers/mechanics, keeping an ear to other conversations in the room, and being talked to by multiple people often all at the same time. This role is supervisor level and responsible to oversee all dispatch operations and report directly to the Operations Manager. It is an independent position so someone with the ability to work efficiently without external motivation is a must. There is daily downtime anticipated each day, which will be occupied by myriad clerical, organizational, and light bookkeeping tasks. Experience dispatching emergency or priority services is strongly preferred. Intermediate computer knowledge, excellent customer service skills, and calm demeanor are a must.
