Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Senior Truck & Transport Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will lead maintenance and repair efforts on heavy-duty trucks and transport equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Your expertise will help minimize downtime and keep our clients’ operations running smoothly. This position offers the opportunity to work with diverse machinery, including excavators, cranes, forklifts, and farm equipment. Duties Perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance on heavy trucks, industrial equipment, and transport vehicles using advanced mechanical skills. Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical issues efficiently. Operate power tools, hand tools, welding equipment, and heavy machinery such as excavators and cranes for repairs or assembly tasks. Conduct heavy lifting with appropriate safety procedures to handle large components or machinery parts. Maintain detailed service records, complete inspection reports, and document repairs accurately for accountability. Assist in training junior technicians on proper repair techniques and safety protocols. Ensure all work complies with safety standards and industry regulations to promote a safe working environment. Experience Proven experience or extensive background working with heavy trucks. Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive repair, industrial equipment, and power tools. Hands-on experience with electrical systems, schematics interpretation, welding techniques, and general maintenance procedures. Demonstrated ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients regarding repairs or maintenance needs.
