For decades, we have designed, engineered, fabricated, and installed some of the most unique and complex architectural millwork and custom interiors throughout the United States and internationally. As our company continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in high-end custom architectural millwork to join our team. This position is ideal for a highly organized, motivated professional who understands the complete millwork process—from architectural drawings and shop drawings through engineering, fabrication, finishing, delivery, and final installation. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing multiple projects from award through completion while serving as a primary point of coordination between clients, architects, designers, general contractors, vendors, our internal drafting and fabrication teams, and field installers. We are looking for someone who can take ownership of their projects, anticipate issues before they affect the schedule, communicate effectively with all parties, and ensure DDMA's standards for quality, schedule, and client service are maintained throughout every phase of the project. Roles & Responsibilities Manage high-end custom millwork projects from initial award through fabrication, delivery, installation, and final completion. Review architectural drawings, specifications, design documents, and project requirements to fully understand the scope of work. Coordinate and manage the shop drawing and submittal process , including drawing logs, material submittals, samples, RFIs, approvals, and revisions. Work closely with DDMA's drafting, engineering, estimating, purchasing, fabrication, finishing, and installation teams. Develop, maintain, and manage detailed project schedules to ensure critical milestones are achieved. Identify long-lead materials and establish required dates for material approvals, purchasing, and delivery. Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, suppliers, and outside fabricators to maintain project schedules. Review shop drawings for accuracy, constructability, coordination, and compliance with approved design intent. Coordinate directly with clients, architects, designers, general contractors, and other trades throughout the project. Attend project meetings and provide clear updates regarding drawings, approvals, procurement, fabrication, delivery, and installation. Perform field surveys, site measurements, and layout coordination as required. Monitor fabrication progress and conduct shop visits to ensure quality and schedule requirements are being maintained. Coordinate and oversee on-site installation of DDMA's millwork and architectural finishes. Proactively identify potential scheduling, design, fabrication, and installation conflicts and work with the project team to develop solutions. Maintain project documentation, schedules, meeting notes, change information, and other required project records. Manage multiple projects and project sites simultaneously. Maintain DDMA's high standards for craftsmanship, quality control, professionalism, and client satisfaction. Travel to project sites as required throughout the United States and May travel internationally. Required Experience & Qualifications Minimum 5 years of Project Management experience in high-end custom architectural millwork is required. Strong knowledge of custom millwork fabrication, construction, and installation methods . Strong ability to read, understand, review, and coordinate architectural and millwork shop drawings .
