Job Summary The Senior Operations and Plant Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the operational functions of SaniSure's extrusion facility in Twinsburg, OH, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and alignment with strategic goals. This role leads cross-functional teams, manages resources, and drives continuous improvement initiatives to support business growth and operational excellence. This position also plays a key role in production planning to ensure the Twinsburg extrusion operation meets customer demand and delivery commitments. Essential Functions Lead daily operations, including production, supply chain, logistics, and quality assurance, ensuring all processes meet organizational and regulatory standards. Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures to enhance productivity and efficiency. Partner with Planning, Purchasing, Sales, and Customer Service to develop and maintain production plans and schedules for extrusion operations that align with forecasted demand and customer commitments. Balance capacity, equipment availability, material supply, and staffing to optimize extrusion line utilization, minimize changeovers, and meet on-time delivery targets. Manage budgets, forecasts, and operational performance metrics to achieve financial and operational objectives. Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including process optimization, cost reduction, and workflow enhancements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., engineering, quality, and sales) to ensure seamless operations and project execution. Ensure compliance with all applicable industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies. Mentor, coach, and develop operations staff to build a high-performing and engaged team. Analyze operational performance data and generate reports to inform leadership decision-making. Set and track location goals and objectives in alignment with company goals. Identify areas for cost reduction and increased efficiency. Support team members to achieve their best performance and foster a positive work environment. Address employee concerns and resolve conflicts, coordinate with Human Resources as needed. Coordinate with other departments to ensure cohesive operations and compliance with company policies and procedures. Provide training and development opportunities for team members, helping them to improve their skills and advance their careers. Ensure team members adhere to company policies and procedures including OSHA safety standards, PPE, and ISO regulations. Approve timekeeping records in timekeeping system. Education Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field (Master’s preferred). Required Experience & Competencies 5+ years of progressive experience in operations management, preferably in manufacturing, biopharma, or related industries. Strong leadership and team management skills with a proven ability to drive results. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Knowledge of operational best practices, lean manufacturing, and process improvement methodologies. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
