Senior Operations & Sourcing Manager
ConfidentialSenior Operations & Sourcing Manager BRANDED MERCHANDISE backround ONLY! "Compensation is based on exerperiance" Promotional products and branded merchandise experience is required. You should already know the promo industry: distributors, suppliers, decorators and how a promo order runs. This is not a coordinator job. You'll own the operations desk, make sourcing calls, and use data to tell us what to sell. Title: Senior Operations & Sourcing Manager Growth: room to grow with the business, with potential annual raises and bonuses Location: Remote (open to candidates worldwide) Peak season: 8–12 presentations a day We're in peak season now. You'll build 8–12 client presentations a day while keeping 40+ open purchase orders moving. Every presentation is complete and ready to order from: Products curated to the client's request, event or audience. All pricing included: unit price, setup fees, decoration charges and shipping. Quantity breaks built around the client's actual needs, not a generic price grid. The right decoration method for each item, priced at our target margin. A typical day mixes presentation builds, vendor calls on in-hands dates, PO and invoice checks, and solving whatever came up overnight. What you'll own Sourcing Source fast through ASI and SAGE, from first-hand knowledge of which supplier to use for what. When the usual suppliers can't hit the price, spec or date, find another route, including direct factories in China and wider Asia. Negotiate MOQs, lead times and landed cost, and check samples before committing to production. Margin integrity Cross-check every estimate, sales order and PO so each order holds its target margin. Confirm discounts are approved and applied correctly. Never charge or pay a setup fee twice on a repeat order, and price small runs to cover their real handling cost. Flag any order below target margin before it moves forward. Decoration expertise Choose the right method for the art, garment, quantity, budget and deadline: embroidery, screen print, DTG, DTF or a specialty process. Know each method's limits, setup costs and break-even quantities, and which suppliers do each one well. Analysis and growth Read our sales and marketing data, and recommend which products, margins and channels to push or drop. Research new products and trends, and present costed recommendations. Improve our workflows in commonsku and monday.com so the desk runs faster with fewer errors. Our order process You own every step, from the client's request to the paid supplier invoice. Presentation: source products and build the presentation in commonsku with full pricing, setup fees and quantity breaks. Client feedback: work back and forth with the client, updating the presentation from their feedback and selections until they're ready to move ahead. Estimate: turn the client's final picks into an estimate. Check every cost line and the margin, then get the client's confirmation. Purchase order: once the estimate is confirmed, create the PO and validate it against the supplier quote: unit cost, setup fees, freight, discounts. No repeat setup fees on reorders. Vendor acknowledgement: get the vendor's acknowledgement of the PO, confirming pricing, specs and a firm in-hands date. No acknowledgement within a day means you call them. Sales order: confirm specs, quantities, art, ship-to and the client's in-hands date. Client invoice: invoice the client from the sales order, and check it matches the confirmed estimate. Follow-up: chase vendors on proofs and production, and keep the client and monday.com updated. If a date, cost or spec is at risk, escalate right away with a fix. Ship date: confirm the actual ship date with the vendor and check it still meets the in-hands date. Tracking: get tracking for every shipment, communicate it to the client, and track the job until it's confirmed delivered. If there's a delivery issue, you solve it: call the carrier, the hotel or venue, or whoever it takes until the …
