Job Title: Sr. Manager, Subcontracts Job Code: 46207 Job Location: Remote Job Schedule: 9/80: Employees work 9 out of every 14 days – totaling 80 hours worked – and have every other Friday off Job Description: L3Harris Technologies is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sr. Supplier Program Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and managing the performance of our suppliers to ensure they meet the high standards of quality, delivery, and cost-effectiveness required for our diverse range of programs. You will be the primary point of contact for supplier-related activities and will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop strategic supplier relationships. Your goal will be to drive supplier performance improvements, support program requirements, and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards. As a Supplier Program Manager, you will leverage your extensive experience and knowledge to execute supplier selection processes, lead negotiations, and manage contractual agreements. You will monitor and evaluate supplier performance through key metrics and implement necessary corrective actions to maintain a high level of service and product quality. Essential Functions: Lead and manage a team of Supplier Program Managers (SPNs), ensuring high performance and alignment with program requirements. Develop and maintain strategic relationships with suppliers and stakeholders. Drive supplier performance improvement initiatives with a focus on quality, delivery, cost, and innovation. Collaborate cross-functionally to manage and resolve supplier-related issues. Proactively address and mitigate risks to ensure program success. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company policies and procedures. Lead the supplier selection process and participate in negotiations to secure favorable pricing and terms. Monitor supplier performance through key metrics and implement corrective actions. Prepare and present program status reports to senior leadership. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 12 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree with a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior related experience. Preferred Additional Skills: Demonstrated success in managing complex supplier relationships and programs. Strong understanding of supply chain processes and principles. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams to achieve results in a fast-paced, complex environment Willingness to travel and flexibility to work extended hours are required.
