Senior Director, SIOP

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Director, SIOP to join the team of a leader in the Energy & Utilities space. This role will lead materials management and supply chain planning strategy across a complex operating environment, with a strong focus on improving visibility, reducing cost, and strengthening execution. The ideal candidate will partner closely with operations, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to align planning priorities with customer expectations. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for someone who can shape global supply chain performance and drive meaningful process improvement. Location: Downers Grove, IL - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $200,000 – $230,000 annually Responsibilities Develop a long-term strategy for materials management aligned with the organization. Identify and implement process improvements for supply chain efficiency. Manage business risks by diversifying the supplier base. Ensure alignment of the SIOP plan with customer expectations. Lead initiatives to improve supply chain visibility and reduce costs. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. 10+ years of experience in supply chain materials management or logistics. 5+ years of leadership or management experience in global operations. Proven track record in managing global supply chains and supplier relationships. Critical thinking skills to identify problems and propose solutions.
