Senior Data Quality Analyst
HD SupplyExperience: 5+ years in data quality, data governance, or supply chain analytics. Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Data Science, Information Systems, Industrial & Systems Engineering, or a related discipline. Equivalent combinations of education and relevant experience may be considered. Technical Skills: Advanced SQL, and Power BI or Tableau. Domain Knowledge: Deep familiarity with ERPs like SAP and WMS platforms. Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities and clear cross-functional communication; working with Enterprise Data team Job Summary This role designs frameworks, monitors key metrics, and helps cleanse data across SAP WM / EWM systems to optimize inventory, procurement, and WM system operations.. Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities Establishes comprehensive data governance rules and operational standards for supply chain data assets to ensure efficient, seamless product flow across the distribution network. Designs and maintains automated monitoring dashboards to continuously evaluate, track, and report on data completeness and quality metrics. Investigates systemic data discrepancies and complex root causes—such as inaccurate supplier lead times—to implement robust corrective and preventive actions. Validates critical data integrity and alignment during enterprise system migrations, technology enhancements, and integrations across SAP ERP and WMS platforms. Partners with cross-functional logistics, procurement, and IT stakeholders to resolve workflow bottlenecks and improve end-to-end data pipelines. Develops custom SQL queries and Python automation scripts to streamline data cleansing, extraction, and validation routines. Collaborates closely with the Enterprise Data team to align supply chain data practices with organizational architecture, security, and governance standds. Nature and Scope Identifies key barriers/core problems and applies problem solving skills in order to deal creatively with complex situations. Troubleshoots and resolves complex problems. Makes decisions under conditions of uncertainty, sometimes with incomplete information, that produce effective end results. Independently performs assignments with instruction limited to the expected results. Determines and develops an approach to solutions. Receives technical guidance only on unusual or complex problems or issues. May oversee the completion of projects and assignments, including planning, assigning, monitoring and reviewing progress and accuracy of work, evaluating results, etc. Contributes to employees' professional development but does not have hiring or firing authority. Work Environment Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable. Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles. Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time. Education and Experience Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 5-8 years of experience in a related field OR MS/MA and generally 3-5 years of experience in a related field. Certification is required in some areas.
