Responsibilities Manage and oversee all aspects of customs clearance processes, ensuring adherence to international trade regulations and customs regulations compliance. Coordinate with freight carriers, customs authorities, and internal teams to facilitate timely import/export activities. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of FDA regulations, OSHA standards, transportation safety regulations, and other relevant compliance requirements. Utilize global trade management software and Excel data analysis tools to monitor shipment status, compile regulatory reporting, and analyze trade data for process improvements. Ensure logistics compliance by implementing best practices in transportation management and risk management strategies. Prepare detailed reports on customs brokerage activities, export management, and regulatory compliance metrics for internal review. Lead training sessions on customs brokerage management, regulatory reporting procedures, and trade compliance policies for team members. Skills Extensive knowledge of customs regulations compliance, including import management and export management procedures. Proficiency with global trade management software and advanced Excel data analysis skills. Strong understanding of OSHA standards, FDA regulations, Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) guidelines, and transportation safety regulations. Experience managing regulatory compliance management initiatives within logistics or supply chain environments. Ability to interpret international trade regulations and implement effective customs clearance management strategies. Excellent report writing skills with attention to detail for regulatory reporting purposes. Technical proficiency in transportation management systems and risk assessment tools.
