Senior Counsel, Procurement

(*Comscore, Total Visits, March 2026) Day to Day You will act as a strategic legal partner to our Category Managers and Category Specialists, driving complex procurement contracts across their entire lifecycle. Day to day, your primary focus will center on drafting, reviewing, and negotiating key agreements within the consulting and staffing verticals. You will provide direct counsel on legal risks and commercial terms, resolve escalations autonomously, and translate complex legal requirements into actionable business solutions. In addition to staffing and consulting, you will also support Marketing and IT agreements as business needs dictate. Beyond direct negotiations, you will play a vital role in elevating the broader team by identifying process gaps, developing standardized contract templates and guidance, and mentoring junior team members to ensure consistent and efficient contract management workflows. Responsibilities Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of procurement and vendor agreements Provide legal guidance on contract terms, risks, and business implications Manage escalations and resolve complex contractual issues Develop and improve contract templates, policies, and processes Support cross-functional initiatives related to procurement and legal operations Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on contract matters Contribute to continuous improvement of legal and procurement workflows Skills/Competencies Requires a Juris Doctor (J.D.) or international law degree equivalent (e.g., LL.B.), active bar admission or global practicing license in good standing, and a minimum of 5 years of related legal experience Knowledge of corporate law and commercial contracting methods Familiarity with data protection and privacy laws is preferred Ability to manage complex negotiations and resolve contractual issues autonomously Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills Data-based thinking with attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Experience creating templates, policies, or process improvements within a legal function Salary Range Transparency Tier 1 - United States of America 127,000 - 191,000 USD per year Tier 2 - United States of America 142,000 - 212,000 USD per year Tier 3 - United States of America 156,000 - 234,000 USD per year Tier 4 - United States of America N/A Tier 5 - United States of America 177,000 - 265,000 USD per year Salary Range Disclaimer The salary range for this role reflects the minimum and maximum compensation for the role.
