Department of Juvenile Justice5112853 Richmond, Virginia, United States Department of Juvenile Justice Procurement Full-Time (Salaried) Closing at: Oct 20 2026 - 23:55 EDT Department of Juvenile Justice Title: Senior Buyer State Role Title: Procurement Officer II Hiring Range: $75,289 - $84,000 Pay Band: 5 Agency: Department of Juvenile Justice Location: Central Office Agency Website: www.djj.virginia.gov Recruitment Type: State Employee Only - E Job Duties To provide timely procurement review, support, oversight and assistance for all procurement transactions to include eVA, VITA, SWaM and SPCC to include training and guidance to all DJJ Staff for the above initiatives and mandates. Minimum Qualifications Considerable knowledge of the principles and best practices of procuring goods and services by appropriate methods as illustrated in the Virginia Public Procurement Act (VPPA), the Department of General Services, Division of Purchase and Supply’s Agency Procurement and Surplus Property Manual (APSPM) and the ability to interpret and train staff on the content of the VPPA and the APSPM. Must have extensive knowledge and the use of eVA, VITA and the Department of Small Business and Supplier Diversity (DSBSD) SWaM requirements.
