Job Overview We are seeking experienced Tri Axle Dump Truck Drivers who are energetic, reliable, and safety-conscious to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for hauling and delivering materials such as dirt, gravel, asphalt, and other construction aggregates to various job sites. Your expertise will ensure efficient operations on construction projects while adhering to all safety regulations and equipment procedures. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be a vital part of large-scale infrastructure and utility projects, contributing to the successful completion of construction milestones. Responsibilities Operate Tri Axle Dump Trucks safely and efficiently across diverse construction sites, following all federal and company safety regulations. Load and unload materials such as gravel, dirt, asphalt, and other aggregates, ensuring proper distribution and coverage. Conduct routine inspections of the dump truck’s mechanical systems, including brakes, hydraulics, tires, lights, and safety features; perform basic maintenance as needed. Maintain accurate logs of daily trips, materials delivered, and hours worked in compliance with federal safety standards. Collaborate with construction crews to coordinate material delivery schedules and adapt to changing project needs. Assist with auxiliary tasks such as utility locating or supporting excavation activities when required. Follow all equipment safety procedures during operation of heavy machinery including loaders, excavators, dozers, graders, water trucks, and other construction machinery. Experience Proven experience operating Tri Axle Dump Trucks in a construction environment with a strong understanding of commercial truck driving regulations. Knowledge of construction machinery maintenance and basic mechanical troubleshooting skills. Familiarity with construction site operations including excavation, grading, paving, and utility work. Hands-on experience with heavy equipment operation such as loaders (including Caterpillar models), backhoes, dozers, graders, excavators (including horizontal drilling equipment), water trucks, tankers, and paving machinery. Understanding of federal construction safety regulations and equipment safety procedures essential for maintaining a safe work environment. Construction site experience involving utility locating and coordination with other heavy machinery operators is highly desirable.
