You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide courteous customer service to passengers and staff. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.87 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Mon 06:30 AM - 02:30 PM Tue 06:30 AM - 02:30 PM Wed 10:30 PM - 06:30 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to passengers, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at rail transportation locations. Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of platforms, stations, parking areas, facilities, and perimeter areas to help identify and report suspicious activity, hazards, and unauthorized access. Monitor entrances, exits, transit areas, and assigned facilities; verify credentials and direct authorized individuals in accordance with site procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, service disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document observations according to established procedures. Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, patrols, unusual conditions, and security-related activities while maintaining professional communication with the public and site representatives. Minimum Requirements: At least one year of security-related experience is required. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
