As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming, secure environment. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Sat 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sun 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors at a government location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed by site procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, and/or maintenance concerns. Monitor entrances, exits, and access points; verify credentials and visitor authorization in accordance with site-specific requirements. Prepare clear, accurate reports and activity logs for incidents, patrol observations, and security-related concerns. Minimum Requirements: Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
