Seasonal* Warehouse Associate - Full Time (Pick & Pack)

Blue Rose Pottery specializes in internet sales of hand-painted Polish Pottery. Our business started in 2004 and has grown to one of the largest retailers of Polish Pottery in the US. Our warehouse is located in Rock Hill, SC - all of our pottery is imported directly from our six partner factories in Poland. We are looking for seasonal warehouse workers to help get our customers' orders out the door through our busiest time of year - shipping experience is a plus, but not required. In this job, you will pick and pack items from our warehouse to fill orders. This involves building the boxes, packing the items for shipment and placing packaged orders in the correct area for distribution. Applicants must have basic reading & computer skills. This is a temporary seasonal position - perfect to earn some Christmas money! Please read before applying: this is our peak season, so overtime is MANDATORY and includes rotating weekends. If you are not able to commit to extra hours and weekend work through the holidays, this is not the right role for you. Warehouse Packer Duties and Responsibilities: ● Pick and pack items for each order ● Build boxes for shipment ● Place packaged items in the correct area ● Scan boxes for shipment ● Follow workplace safety standards ● Other duties as assigned Warehouse Packer Requirements and Qualifications: ● Must be 18 years of age or older ● High school diploma or GED certificate ● Must be available for mandatory overtime and rotating weekends ● Basic reading and math skills ● Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs, with or without a reasonable accommodation ● Warehouse or shipping experience a plus Warehouse Packer scheduled hours: Monday - Friday (generally 8 or 9am - 5pm). Mandatory overtime, including rotating weekends, through the holiday season. Overtime is paid at time and a half. Pay Rate: $13 - $14 an hour depending on experience. Paid weekly by direct deposit.
