We are seeking an experienced Seasonal Distribution Center Supervisor II to lead and oversee daily distribution center operations. This position is responsible for supervising staff, driving operational efficiency, ensuring the effective use of resources, and maintaining a safe, productive work environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in high-volume distribution, warehouse operations, logistics, and team leadership. How you will contribute: Supervise and coach a team of distribution center employees, including hourly, temporary, and, when applicable, supervisory staff. Lead daily operations across functions such as receiving, warehousing, shipping, inventory control, transportation, and customer returns processing. Train employees on operating procedures, safety standards, and company policies. Monitor employee performance, provide feedback, conduct performance reviews, and administer corrective action when necessary. Establish annual, monthly, weekly, and daily operational goals and ensure successful execution against those objectives. Drive productivity, quality, and service performance while ensuring resources are utilized effectively and efficiently. Oversee staffing and labor planning to support operational demands and business priorities. Ensure all equipment, machinery, and material handling systems are operated safely and maintained properly. Safeguard company assets and inventory through effective operational controls and security procedures. Monitor departmental expenses and help ensure operations remain within budget guidelines. Analyze operational performance and prepare reports on key metrics, resource utilization, and goal achievement. Lead projects and process improvement initiatives designed to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and cost effectiveness. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support customer service, logistics, transportation, and inventory management objectives. Promote a culture of safety, accountability, continuous improvement, and employee engagement. What you will bring and skills that excite us: Bachelor's degree in Business, Distribution Management, Logistics, Systems, or a related field; equivalent education and experience will be considered. 5-7 years of progressive leadership experience within a high-volume distribution center, warehouse, logistics operation, or other fast-paced automated operations environment. Bilingual English/Spanish skills. Proven experience leading and developing teams in a distribution or warehouse setting. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Experience working with warehouse management systems and operational technology platforms. Knowledge of labor planning, resource scheduling, and distribution center operations. Understanding of material handling equipment, automated sorting equipment, storage systems, and warehouse processes. Working knowledge of transportation, logistics, customer service, inventory management, and operational reporting. Knowledge of budgeting and financial management within an operations environment. Familiarity with automated warehouse systems and warehouse control software.
