Seasonal Grain Operations Associate

Seasonal Grain Operations Associate Position Summary The Seasonal Grain Operations Associate supports daily grain operations during peak seasonal periods. This position assists with grain receiving, grain handling, facility housekeeping, customer service, and maintaining a safe work environment. Employees may work at grain elevators, rail facilities, and other company locations as assigned. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assist customers with unloading grain. Assist with grain receiving operations and grain flow activities. Obtain grain samples and assist with grain grading procedures. Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas. Perform housekeeping duties throughout the facility. Assist with loading grain trains and rail cars when assigned. Open and close rail car lids as required. Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and regulations. Communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and supervisors. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions. Dependable attendance and punctuality are required. Ability to work flexible schedules, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Must be able to work a minimum of three (3) hour increments when scheduled. Physical Requirements Ability to work in and around grain facilities, including grain bins and dusty environments. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to bend, squat, twist, climb, reach, and perform repetitive movements. Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Ability to work above shoulder level when necessary. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Working Conditions Exposure to dust, noise, moving equipment, and varying weather conditions. May be required to work at heights and around grain handling equipment. Seasonal hours may vary based on business needs and harvest conditions. Additional Requirements Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen as a condition of employment.
