Seasonal FedEx Delivery Driver Helper

Appalachian Logistics is a FedEx Ground Independent Service Provider seeking reliable Delivery Driver Helpers to support our drivers on daily routes in the Spartanburg and surrounding Upstate South Carolina area. Helpers assist with package handling, delivery, and route efficiency. This is a fast-paced, physical role ideal for someone who wants consistent work, daily pay potential, and the chance to move into a full driver position. Responsibilities Assist the driver with sorting, loading, and unloading packages from the vehicle. Deliver packages to residential and commercial customers following FedEx safety and service standards. Scan packages, obtain signatures when required, and document delivery exceptions accurately. Navigate routes efficiently while maintaining a professional and courteous attitude with customers. Follow all safety protocols, including proper lifting techniques and vehicle procedures. Help keep the vehicle organized and clean throughout the day. Communicate clearly with the driver and dispatch regarding any issues or delays. Meet daily performance expectations for on-time deliveries and package handling accuracy. Requirements Valid driver’s license (must be able to pass a background check and drug screen). Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 lbs regularly; heavier packages with assistance. Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions. Reliable transportation to and from the station. Strong work ethic, punctuality, and ability to work as part of a team. Basic smartphone skills for scanning and communication apps. Previous delivery, warehouse, or physical labor experience is a plus but not required. Must be 18+ years old. What We Offer Competitive hourly pay and weekly payday on Friday.
