Seasonal CDL-A Driver

Hello! Welcome to Alex D. Delivery LLC! We are a small, but rapidly growing logistics company here in Salt Lake City, Utah. We currently have (3) dedicated, seasonal positions for a Class A CDL driver. This position is expected to run approximately from 11/23 to 01/08, and will operate (7) days per week. Please see the shift information below. In your application, please be sure select the shift you desire. Candidates will be able to select their schedule at time of hire (i.e. Monday - Thursday, Shift 1). Shift 1 (Afternoon) : 12:00pm - 8:00pm | $28.00/hour Shift 2 (Overnight) : 8:00pm - 4:00am | $28.00/hour With this part-time route, we occasionally offer extra pick-ups or drop-offs, and weekend work for more hours! Required: Must be able to drive a Manual Transmission . We cannot accept drivers with an "Automatic Only" restriction. Clean MVR - Personal AND Commercial* Active / Current DOT Medical Card The Equipment: We run a well-maintained, old school fleet of International, Freightliner, and Volvos (Day Cabs, + 53' Dry Vans). Duties: Operate tractor trailers including day cabs, and 53' dry vans. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety compliance. Plan routes effectively using GPS to optimize delivery schedules and minimize delays. Maintain accurate electronic logs (hours of service). Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving. Communicate with office dispatch regarding delivery status and any issues encountered during transit. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, ensuring customer satisfaction. Skills: Proven experience in truck driving with a valid commercial driver’s license (CDL). Familiarity with operating various types of tractor trailers. Ability to navigate 53' trailers. Navigation skills with the ability to read route instructions, maps and use GPS technology effectively. Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and company team members. Ability to work independently. Must be able to drive a manual transmission.
