Scrap Metal Material Handler/Forklift Operator/Skidsteer
Tri-Miss Services DBA Tri-Miss RecyclingDuties: - Operate a skid steer, forklift, and aluminum can baler. - Sort, separate, and identify various types of ferrous and non-ferrous metals. - Bale aluminum cans and prepare materials for processing. - Box, package, and organize recyclable materials for shipment. - Load, unload, move, and stack scrap metal safely. - Assist with daily scrap yard operations and material processing. - Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. - Perform basic equipment inspections and report maintenance issues. - Follow all company safety procedures and operating guidelines. - Perform other yard duties as assigned. Qualifications- -Previous experience in a scrap metal yard, recycling facility, warehouse, or industrial setting preferred. - Experience operating a forklift, skid steer, or baling equipment is a plus. - Knowledge of different types of scrap metals is preferred. - Ability to perform physical labor, lift heavy materials safely, and work outdoors in various weather conditions. - Must be dependable, punctual, and willing to work. - Ability to follow instructions and work well with others. - Must be safety-conscious and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
