Scale House Operator

Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Scale House Operator to oversee the efficient operation of our facility’s scale house. In this vital role, you will manage inbound and outbound vehicle traffic, ensure accurate weighing and documentation of shipments, and maintain seamless communication with drivers and logistics partners. Your expertise will help uphold safety standards, and support overall inventory management. Responsibilities Operate vehicle scales to accurately weigh inbound and outbound trucks, ensuring compliance with shipping and safety regulations Verify shipment details using warehouse management systems (such as SMS Fulcrum) Record data entry related to weights, shipment details, and driver information with precision and attention to detail Coordinate with loader staff Assist drivers Maintain organized records of all transactions, logs, and reports related to scale house operations Support inventory management efforts by tracking stock levels and ensuring accurate order fulfillment Experience Strong data entry skills combined with basic math proficiency for weighing calculations Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with drivers, vendors, and internal teams Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail Join our team as a Scale House Operator.
