SAP MRP Purchasing Coordinator

Join Aegis for a high-impact contract We’re placing two purchasing professionals with our client for a 4–6 month contract. You will execute SAP-driven buying activities to keep production supplied and on schedule. Aegis offers paid sick leave, and contractor benefits are available after 90 days. What you’ll do Run MRP in SAP, review requirements, and convert demand into timely purchase orders Create and place POs, secure vendor confirmations, and track delivery performance Proactively expedite critical materials and resolve supplier or supply issues Navigate SAP transaction codes (T-codes) confidently to manage purchasing workflows Collaborate with Supply Chain, Manufacturing/Production, Accounting/AP, and suppliers What you bring 1+ year of purchasing experience, ideally in manufacturing Hands-on SAP expertise on the procurement/purchasing side — immediate proficiency required Ability to interpret MRP outputs to determine what to buy and when Strong communication, organization, and ownership mindset Proficient to advanced user of Outlook, Teams, and Excel Nice-to-have extras 3+ years of buying experience Advanced Excel skills Experience sourcing components/materials from outside vendors Previous success in contract/project roles — perfect fit for this temporary backfill No degree required; real SAP and Buyer experience take priority Contract snapshot Openings: 2 Duration: 4–6 months Provided by Aegis: Paid sick leave; benefits for contractors after 90 days
