Sales Executive - Logistic Services

Job Overview As a Sales Executive – Logistic Services, you’ll build client relationships and grow business by matching shipping needs with practical logistics solutions. You’ll use your knowledge of freight, transportation, and supply chain services to develop opportunities, guide negotiations, and support accounts from initial conversation through ongoing service. This role suits a proactive seller who communicates clearly, follows through, and enjoys working across teams. Duties Identify and pursue business-to-business (B2B) sales opportunities for logistics, freight brokerage, freight forwarding, air freight, and third-party logistics (3PL) services. Assess client needs, present shipping and transportation options, negotiate contracts, and coordinate account handoffs with operations. Manage customer relationships and accounts; provide responsive customer service and clear client communication throughout the sales cycle. Maintain accurate activity and account records in customer relationship management (CRM) software; complete related data entry and use Microsoft Office tools. Your impact: By aligning client requirements with reliable transportation plans, you help customers move freight efficiently and keep supply chains operating smoothly. Experience Required: Sales experience, strong communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to manage client relationships and accounts. Preferred: Logistics company experience, logistics sales, transportation or carrier sales, inside sales, sales management, or experience with freight, shipping logistics, supply chain management, transportation planning, or transportation management. Familiarity with transportation management systems, freight forwarding, freight brokerage, non-vessel-operating common carriers (NVOCCs), and international trade regulations is an asset. Knowledge of trade compliance, Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, and logistics contracts is helpful.
