Piper Aircraft IncJob Title: International Sales Associate Essential Job Functions Assist and provide support to the Director of Global Sales. Interface extensively with customers, international dealers, international sales agents, and internal teammates to ensure efficient sales efforts between all. Participate in sales lead process to include: first point of contact, qualifying prospects, answering technical and product support questions, and conducting product demonstrations. Effectively prioritize work to guarantee that business critical activities are completed in a timely manner. Represent company products at company and dealer managed events and tradeshows. Pilots’ aircraft following standard operating procedures to ensure that flights operate according to all regulations, safety, and company policies. Follows required procedures to perform pre-flight checks and inspections. Determines flight routes, speed, take-off, and landing times that will fulfill scheduling requirements. Completes required documentation and performs post-flight procedures as required. Pilot duties to include (not limited to): Delivery acceptance, Customer Demonstration, Corporate transportation, Return to service – post maintenance flights. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Position Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in aviation or business, and/ or knowledge of general aviation aircraft sales; or equivalent combination of education and experience is required Proven experience in sales, marketing, and corporate flight operations Commercial Pilot Certificate with instrument and multi-engine ratings is required as well as a minimum of 1,000 hours total pilot time and 100 hours of multiengine time in general aviation aircraft Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities- A foreign language is a plus Must be able to clearly communicate with ATCT (Air Traffic Control Tower) Excellent organizational and leadership skills Familiarity with aviation business and flight school operations Commercial Pilot license w/ multi-engine, instrument preferred Knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and of Windows based computer programs is preferred.
