Sales Associate/Delivery Driver

Who We Are A&E Paint Centers is a family-owned and operated independent paint dealer serving Southwest Florida since 2008. We proudly carry Benjamin Moore, PPG Paints, and Florida Paints and work closely with professional painting contractors, property managers, businesses, and homeowners throughout the area. We are currently looking for a dependable, customer-focused team member to join our Port Charlotte location . Position Overview This position supports the daily sales and operations of our Port Charlotte store, primarily serving professional paint contractors as well as retail customers. Responsibilities include: Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining their needs and recommending appropriate products and services. Accurately process sales transactions, work orders, customer information, and paint formulas. Tint, mix, and prepare paint and coatings according to customer specifications. Pull and organize products from the sales floor and warehouse. Stock shelves and maintain product displays. Maintain a clean, organized store and properly clean tinting and other store equipment. Load and unload delivery trucks and customer vehicles. Assist with daily local deliveries to customers and job sites. Provide knowledgeable, friendly customer service and help resolve customer questions or concerns. Basic Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employment sponsorship. Must be able to regularly lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Must be able to retrieve products from shelves, floor stacks, and warehouse areas. Must be able to distinguish between colors in order to accurately tint paint. Must be comfortable using a computer and communicating with customers by telephone. High school diploma, GED, or comparable certification. Preferred Qualifications Previous sales, retail, paint, construction, or customer-service experience. Strong customer-service and problem-solving skills. Ability to professionally handle customer questions and complaints. Good written and verbal communication skills. Valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
