Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs, providing expert product knowledge and demonstrations. Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently for sales transactions, cash handling, and receipts. Upsell products by highlighting features and benefits to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales. Maintain attractive merchandising displays and ensure shelves are stocked with fresh inventory. Manage stock levels through regular stocking, inventory checks, and product replenishment. Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely. Support cashiering duties including processing payments accurately and handling returns or exchanges. Assist in supervising team members when needed, fostering a collaborative environment focused on excellent service. Qualifications Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in grocery stores or similar environments. Demonstrated proficiency with POS systems, cash handling, and retail math calculations. Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers; bilingual abilities are a plus. Experience in supervising or leading team members is desirable but not required. Ability to perform basic math quickly and accurately for transactions and inventory management. Knowledge of merchandising techniques and product demos to engage customers effectively. Excellent phone etiquette skills for professional customer interactions over the phone.
