Sales Associate

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sales Associate to join our team. This role involves supporting store operations through inventory management, shipment handling, and organization. The ideal candidate should be able to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to handle multiple packages and read item contents. Prior retail experience is a plus but not required. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a well-organized store environment while developing valuable skills. Duties Receive and process shipments, ensuring proper handling and organization of incoming packages Organize and sort inventory items, including books or similar materials Manage inventory levels by accurately tracking stock and updating records as needed Handle several packages daily, capable of listing weights up to 50lbs Read and interpret the contents of various items for proper categorization and storage Maintain a clean, organized workspace to facilitate efficient store operations Work quickly and with accuracy to meet daily operational goals Assist in general store organization and upkeep as required Qualifications Ability to list weights up to 50lbs comfortably Capable of reading the contents of items accurately Must be capable of handling several packages simultaneously Should have some knowledge of Word and Excel spreadsheets for record keeping Punctuality and reliability are essential qualities for this role Retail store experience is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is important Ability to work fast, efficiently, and with attention to detail This position provides an engaging opportunity for individuals seeking a dynamic role in retail operations.
