Sales Agent in Logistics and Transportation

Echo Global is a publicly traded company (ECHO: Nasdaq) with Sales Offices across the United States. One of them happens to be located in Minden City, MI. We provide truckload, LTL and logistic services to thousands of customers throughout the US, Canada and Mexico. We are adding 2 Independent Contractors to train and sell under our division. The Candidate will be ambitious, have an entrepreneurial spirit, be computer literate, with working knowledge of Microsoft office, and other business related programs, have no fear of smart calling (we do our best not to cold call) customers, and is dependable and reliable. Accountability in your metrics, bench marking your progress and following through with your commitments and customers is a must. Experience in business, sales, transportation, manufacturing and/or logistics is also preferred but not necessary. This is a Professional Sales Position. You will provide transportation options and services to your clients. There is no territorial limits, we have customers in every State in the Union. You will be surrounded by experienced professionals in our office and supported by our HQ in Chicago. New Hires will begin with online and inhouse, one on one training. After weeks of training you will begin selling - In order to succeed you will call on 50 plus potential customers per day. Make sure this is something that you can be comfortable with as it leads to success. Average GP after one year is 12k per month, average after two years is 20-25k per month. Agents are paid 35% of GP on all transactions handled independently. There is no ceiling on what you can make. Earnings will follow hard work and diligence. You will get out of it, what you put in! One month in office training in Minden City, MI. After successful training, you are able to work from home while maintaining monthly goals. The work is fast paced. Customers are "repeat" customers so customer service and follow-up is important to build your base.
