MUST SUPPLY PERSONAL OWNED VEHICLE Duties Safely operate various delivery vehicles, including box trucks, vans, and personal vehicles, adhering strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards. Load, unload, and organize packages using manual handling techniques Deliver parcels directly to customers’ residences or businesses, providing excellent customer service with professionalism and courtesy. Use mobile devices to track deliveries, update route progress, and communicate with dispatch teams in real-time. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and compliance with company policies. Follow prescribed routes efficiently, managing time effectively to meet delivery schedules while maintaining safety protocols. Handle heavy lifting with proper techniques to prevent injury, ensuring safe lifting practices during package handling. Experience Previous warehouse experience or roles involving material handling equipment operation is highly desirable. Proven delivery driver experience, especially with box trucks or van drivers, demonstrating safe driving habits and route management skills. Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles and commercial truck driving is a plus. Experience in moving or courier services that require manual handling of packages or heavy lifting. Knowledge of adhering to traffic regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations, and weight handling in the workplace is essential. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with clients. Ability to operate mobile devices for route navigation and delivery documentation efficiently.
