Duties Safely operate various delivery vehicles, including box trucks, vans, and personal vehicles used for delivery routes Load, unload, and organize packages using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks Follow prescribed route schedules while adhering to traffic regulations and safety standards set by DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations Deliver packages directly to customers’ doorsteps or designated locations with professionalism and courtesy Use mobile devices to track deliveries, update route progress, and communicate with dispatch or team members Perform routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with heavy lifting practices and safe driving protocols Maintain accurate delivery records and handle customer inquiries with excellent service skills Experience Prior warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse operations is highly valued Proven delivery driver experience, especially with box trucks or courier services Experience operating manual transmission vehicles such as vans or trucks is preferred Knowledge of commercial driving, load & unload procedures, and material handling equipment operation (e.g., pallet jacks) Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and consistently follow safe lifting practices in accordance with workplace weight handling standards Demonstrated ability to adhere to traffic laws, DOT regulations, and safety policies during route driving Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude when interacting with clients and community members This role is perfect for motivated individuals who thrive on physical activity, enjoy driving routes in diverse environments, and are committed to providing outstanding service.
