As a Route Sales Driver , you'll be the face of our business, building strong customer relationships while delivering exceptional service and maximizing sales opportunities. You will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring their locations are fully stocked, equipment is operating properly, and service expectations are consistently exceeded. What You'll Do Customer Service & Account Management Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by delivering outstanding service. Take ownership of assigned accounts and proactively identify opportunities to improve service, product offerings, and customer satisfaction. Serve as the primary contact for customer questions, concerns, and requests. Identify sales opportunities and recommend products and solutions that meet customer needs. Support customer retention through consistent follow-up and exceptional service. Route Operations Safely operate a company vehicle while complying with all DOT regulations and company policies. Complete pre-trip vehicle inspections and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Load, unload, transport, and merchandise products at customer locations. Stock products, rotate inventory, and maintain equipment cleanliness and operational standards. Ensure deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule. Inventory & Financial Accountability Manage and maintain appropriate inventory levels at customer locations. Protect company and customer assets. Accurately account for all products, inventory, cash, and other financial transactions in accordance with company procedures. Monitor product quality and maintain equipment functionality. Communication & Teamwork Communicate effectively with customers, management, and teammates. Report customer concerns, competitive activity, and growth opportunities. Participate in team meetings, safety initiatives, and ongoing training programs. Support other operational responsibilities as needed. Safety First Follow all company and customer safety policies and procedures. Practice safe work habits and contribute to a culture of safety. Use tools and equipment properly and responsibly. Participate in regular safety training and Service STARS programs. Qualifications Required Education High School Diploma or GED. Licensing Requirements Valid driver's license required. Must be able to obtain DOT certification and operate DOT-regulated vehicles. Acceptable driving record required. Experience 1+ years of customer-facing experience in retail, hospitality, route service, delivery, sales, food service, logistics, or a related field. Proven ability to build relationships and provide excellent customer service. Experience handling customer concerns and resolving issues professionally. Skills & Abilities Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Customer-focused with a sales and service mindset. Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
