Duties Safely operate a commercial vehicle to deliver products along assigned routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Load, unload, and merchandise products at customer locations with care, including heavy lifting when necessary Engage with customers professionally to ensure their needs are met, answer questions, and promote additional products through upselling techniques Manage route schedules efficiently by planning optimal delivery sequences and maintaining accurate delivery logs Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and compliance with company standards Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly Maintain organized records of deliveries, pricing adjustments, and customer interactions for accurate reporting Experience Prior experience in commercial driving or route delivery is preferred but not required; training will be provided for qualified candidates Strong math skills for handling pricing adjustments, measurements, and inventory counts Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with customers and team members Demonstrated ability in sales or upselling to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods during deliveries Organizational skills to manage multiple stops efficiently within tight schedules Military background or experience is a plus, bringing discipline and reliability to the role Must be able to pass a background check Embark on a rewarding career where your driving expertise meets customer service excellence!
