Roll Off Driver Class B CDL

Job Overview As a Roll Off Driver with a Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), you’ll operate a roll-off truck to collect and transport solid waste safely and reliably. You’ll follow assigned routes, serve customers professionally, and work outdoors in changing conditions. This role requires safe vehicle operation, careful load handling, and compliance with applicable transportation and hazardous materials regulations. Responsibilities Drive roll-off trucks on assigned routes and position containers for pickup and delivery. Load and unload containers, secure loads, and perform required vehicle and equipment checks. Follow defensive driving practices, traffic laws, safety protocols, and Department of Transportation (DOT) and state transportation regulations. Provide courteous customer service and report route, equipment, or safety concerns promptly. Your impact: Safe, dependable collections help customers and communities maintain cleaner, more orderly spaces. Experience Required: Valid Class B CDL with air brake qualification, safe commercial truck driving experience, and ability to operate a manual transmission. Required: Knowledge of driving practices, traffic laws, safety protocol adherence, and applicable DOT and state transportation regulations. Preferred: Roll-off truck, garbage truck, front loader truck, or rear loader truck experience; familiarity with front-end loaders and solid waste or municipal waste management. Preferred: Mechanical knowledge, route driving, outdoor work experience, customer service, and familiarity with hazardous materials regulations.
