Overview We are seeking a skilled and dependable Roll-Off Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Driver to join our team. This role involves operating various types of trucks,, roll-off, dump trucks, to transport waste materials and other loads efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, driving experience with heavy vehicles, and the ability to perform manual lifting tasks. Responsibilities Safely operate a variety of trucks including roll-off trucks, dump trucks, in accordance with all safety regulations and company policies. Load and unload materials using appropriate equipment and techniques, ensuring secure transportation of cargo. Perform routine inspections of vehicles before and after trips, identifying mechanical issues and reporting maintenance needs promptly. Maneuver heavy equipment with precision, demonstrating mechanical knowledge related to truck operation and maintenance. Assist with the loading and unloading process as needed, utilizing manual lifting skills for heavy loads. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle inspections in compliance with DOT regulations. Follow all traffic laws and safety protocols during transportation routes to ensure timely deliveries while prioritizing safety. Conduct routine vehicle maintenance checks such as fluid levels, tire pressure, brakes, lights, and other essential systems. Requirements Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for operating roll-off trucks, dump trucks, Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with delivery trucks such as roll-off or heavy-duty vehicles. Mechanical knowledge related to truck operation and basic maintenance procedures. Experience with manual transmission vehicles is preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely during loading/unloading operations. Strong driving skills with a clean driving record; experience with front loader trucks is a plus. Knowledge of load securing techniques and safety standards for transporting heavy or hazardous materials. Physical stamina to handle long hours on the road and perform manual tasks as required.
