To get a taste of the work environment at Kontron Canada, watch the following video in French: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0dY0VkPs39o AN OVERVIEW OF THE CHALLENGES AHEAD: Job Purpose Under the supervision of the RMA Director, the RMA Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and monitoring the complete avionics material return lifecycle (RMA). He/ She acts as a central point between customers, internal and external functions to ensure an efficient flow that is compliant and aligned with contractual and regulatory commitments. Key Responsibilities RMA lifecycle coordination : Coordinate all activities related to avionics RMAs, including case opening, receiving, sorting, internal routing, follow-up, and closure; Operational follow-up and visibility : Ensure daily follow-up of RMA cases (WIP, status, bottlenecks, priorities, delays) and maintain clear visibility for all stakeholders; Planning and prioritization : Plan and prioritize RMA cases in collaboration with the shop floor, quality, engineering, and customer service teams to meet repair turnaround times (TAT) and ensure an optimized flow; Communication and cross-functional coordination : Act as the primary point of contact for RMA cases and ensure effective communication with internal teams, as well as with customers; Reports and performance indicators : Produce periodic status reports, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and promptly flag critical cases requiring escalation; Escalation Management : Identify at-risk situations (delays, quality or technical issues) and ensure proper follow-up until resolution; Continuous Improvement : Participate in continuous improvement initiatives by identifying root causes of delays or inefficiencies and proposing corrective actions; Deliverables compliance : Validate that work performed matches the customer request, follow up on required POs, and approve repair reports against regulatory and contractual requirements; Other Related Duties : Perform any other related tasks as required. YOU WILL IMPRESS US IF YOU HAVE: Education: Technical bachelor’s degree or technician diploma with relevant experience, or any equivalent combination of education and experience; Specialization / Training: Avionics or regulated industrial environments; Experience: Relevant experience in planning, RMA coordination, avionics operations, MRO, or a similar regulated environment; Profile: Strong organizational, coordination, and communication skills, high level of attention to detail, autonomy, and prioritization ability, proven ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams, comfortable managing multiple files in a fast‑paced environment; Knowledge: RMA processes and repair flows, traceability, quality documentation, and compliance requirements, use of ERP/MRP systems and office tools (Microsoft Office); Assets: Specialization/training in avionics or repair operations (MRO), knowledge of SAP (ERP), exposure to regulated environments (FAA Part 145 / Part 21); Languages: Proficiency in French and English (spoken and written). English is required for communication with our international customers.
