Description

Job Summary:  The Revenue Cycle Operations Manager leads the day-to-day coordination of assigned client-site operations and project activities for hospital accounts. This role is responsible for monitoring workflows, reviewing dashboard activity, prioritizing work assignments, tracking project performance, and driving action plans to meet client and operational needs. The Revenue Cycle Operations Manager serves as a key liaison between PF Concepts and the client, helping ensure effective service delivery, quality, workflow efficiency, and timely resolution of operational issues. 


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Coordinate daily project activities for assigned client accounts to support operational goals and client needs. 
  • Review dashboards, reports, and workflow activity to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. 
  • Develop, implement, and monitor action plans to support productivity, quality, and service expectations. 
  • Maintain project schedules, prioritize work assignments, and identify resource and workflow needs. 
  • Monitor project performance and address issues in a timely, professional manner. 
  • Prepare reports, project updates, and materials for internal and client meetings. 
  • Partner with managers, team leads, and staff to drive workflow consistency, process improvement, and performance goals. 
  • Serve as a liaison between PF Concepts and client contacts, building and maintaining positive working relationships. 
  • Research issues, clarify information, and recommend practical solutions or alternatives when concerns arise. 
  • Support quality control efforts, auditing processes, and compliance with client and company standards. 
  • Demonstrate clear and professional communication with internal teams and clients, including the ability to explain processes, expectations, and updates effectively. Attend client meetings, internal meetings, training sessions, and team-building activities as needed. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Pay: 

  •  $90,000–$110,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications. 

Schedule:

  • Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
  • 40 hours/week
Requirements

Required Skills / Abilities: 

  • Strong communication skills to effectively provide education and financial counseling to patients or families related to the program eligibility. 
  • Ability to communicate with team members, patients, or family members and adapt to different changing situations.
  • Ability to work independently, attentive to detail and maintain a positive attitude. 
  • Knowledge with health insurance guidelines programs and plans.
  • Knowledge of government/state payers, including eligibility factors. 
  • Excellent management and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office or related software.
  • Bilingual – writing, reading and speaking in English & Spanish (preferred).

  

Educational:

  • High school diploma, required.
  • At least 5 years of leadership experience in healthcare revenue cycle management or patient financial services, required.
  • Experience in developing training programs related to the field. 
  • Experience in customer or patient relations. 
  • Certification in Presumptive Eligibility, Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA), Financial Counselor Certification, Certified Healthcare Financial Professional (CHFP), etc., preferred.
  • Previous physician collections and/or financial counseling office experience and insurance eligibility.
