Retail Supervisor

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Retail Supervisor for our small makers market and art supplies store available to start immediately. In this role, you will oversee weekend store operations, ensure exceptional customer service, manage inventory, and support sales growth. Expected to deliver outstanding shopping experiences while maintaining operational excellence. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a proactive individual passionate about retail management and small business. Responsibilities Supervise daily store activities, including sales, merchandising, inventory control, and customer interactions to ensure smooth operations. Oversee inventory management tasks such as stock replenishment, organizing, etc. Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service. Utilize POS (Point of Sale) systems for sales transactions, cash handling, and sales reporting while ensuring accuracy in financial procedures. Keeping the store clean and organized, doing projects etc. Requirements Proven experience in retail management or supervisory roles within the retail industry with a strong background. Proficiency with POS systems, inventory management software, bookkeeping, payroll processing, and basic math skills for cash handling and sales calculations. Excellent communication skills Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively while managing multiple responsibilities such as stock control, merchandising, and operational management.
