Retail Store Manager

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Retail Store Manager to lead our team and drive the success of our store. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Sports Cards & Collectables and a strong ability to manage daily operations effectively. As a Retail Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing store performance, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, and leading your team to achieve sales goals. Key Responsibilities Manage daily store operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to company policies. Hire, train, mentor, and develop in-store team to foster a performance-driven, customer centric culture. Provide outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Post social media content weekly. Oversee inventory management, including pricing strategies and stock replenishment. Utilize POS systems for transaction processing and sales reporting. Implement marketing initiatives to attract customers and oversee company led events. Monitor budgetary performance and manage expenses effectively. Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and updates. Qualifications Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner. Schedule is Tuesday-Saturday, off Sunday & Monday Attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions and inventory management. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced retail environment. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and during special events as needed. Basic computer skills for point of sale operations and inventory tracking. Physical stamina to perform tasks such as lifting boxes and standing for extended periods. Experience 3+ years of experience in Retail Operations and/or Store Management. Experience Sports, Sport Cards, or Collectables retail segments. Demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively while promoting collaboration. Proficient in time management with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently. Familiarity with budgeting practices and market trends relevant to retail operations. Knowledge in Sports Cards Collecting is required. Physical Requirements Sitting and operating a computer for long periods of time. Walking, standing for long periods. of time. Lifting and carrying up to 35 lbs. Bending and reaching Manual dexterity Repetitive Motions Cognition to remember processes with multiple steps, perform basic math accurately, and recall sequences efficiently.
