Duties Lead and supervise all store activities, including sales, customer service, inventory management, and staff scheduling to ensure smooth operations. Recruit, interview, train, and develop team members to foster a high-performing retail sales team with excellent customer service skills. Manage payroll processing, bookkeeping, cash handling, and POS (Point of Sale) systems to maintain accurate financial records. Oversee inventory control, purchasing, pricing strategies, and merchandising to optimize product availability and presentation. Implement marketing initiatives and promotional activities to boost store traffic and sales performance. Conduct employee orientation sessions and ongoing training to enhance team skills in retail math, sales techniques, product knowledge, and operational procedures. Monitor store performance metrics regularly; analyze sales data and manage budgets to meet or exceed financial targets. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and legal regulations; handle customer complaints professionally to maintain excellent customer relationships. Supervise shift management responsibilities including cashiering duties, stock replenishment, and operational tasks. Foster a positive work environment through effective managerial communication and leadership; motivate staff to achieve personal and team goals. Qualifications Proven management experience within the retail industry, including supervising teams in a fast-paced environment. Strong skills in negotiation, employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting, training & development, and leadership. Extensive knowledge of POS systems, inventory management tools, merchandising techniques, and operational management practices. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Proficiency in retail math calculations such as pricing strategies, budgeting, and sales analysis; basic math skills are essential. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are preferred to serve diverse customer bases effectively. Experience with grocery stores or wireless sales is advantageous but not mandatory. Exceptional communication skills—both verbal and written—and phone etiquette are crucial for success in this role. Demonstrated ability in supervising employees through effective coaching and performance management strategies.
