Retail Store Associate

Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and motivated Retail Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with product selection, and maintaining an organized sales floor. This role is vital in creating a positive shopping experience and driving sales through effective communication and product knowledge. Bilingual skills are a plus to better serve our diverse customer base. Prior retail or grocery store experience is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a strong work ethic. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist with their shopping needs Operate POS systems efficiently for sales transactions, returns, and exchanges Conduct product demos to educate customers about features and benefits Upsell products to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales Maintain attractive merchandising displays and ensure products are well-stocked Handle stock replenishment and organize merchandise on shelves Manage cash handling accurately, including cashiering duties and balancing registers Provide excellent phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone Assist with inventory management, including stocking and inventory counts Support supervising staff in training new team members as needed Experience Previous retail sales or grocery store experience is advantageous but not mandatory Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and retail math principles Experience with merchandising, product demos, and upselling techniques preferred Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities, are highly valued Supervising experience is a plus for those interested in leadership opportunities Ability to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment Basic math skills necessary for cashiering and retail transactions Join our team to deliver outstanding service while developing your retail skills in a dynamic environment.
