Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and offering product recommendations. Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently to process retail sales transactions accurately, including cash handling and cash drawer management. Conduct product demos to educate customers about features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities. Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure shelves are stocked with current inventory. Assist with stocking, inventory management, and inventory replenishment to keep the store inviting and well-supplied. Handle retail store product knowledge confidently to answer customer questions effectively. Support cashiering duties by managing cash register operations, performing basic math calculations, and ensuring accurate retail math during transactions. Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or scheduling appointments. Engage in supervising experience by helping new team members or supporting team leadership when needed. Promote a positive shopping environment through clear communication skills and proactive engagement with customers. Requirements Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key! Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers; bilingual abilities are a plus. Familiarity with POS systems, cash register operations, and retail math to handle transactions confidently. Ability to perform stocking duties, merchandising tasks, and maintain organized displays efficiently. Excellent phone etiquette for professional customer interactions over the phone. Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly attitude and positive approach. Supervising experience is advantageous for supporting team activities and mentoring new associates.
