Retail Shipping Clerk

Job Summary Clothing Store is seeking an organized, dependable, and detail-oriented Retail Shipping Clerk to support merchandise shipping, receiving, and inventory operations. The successful candidate will prepare customer and store orders for shipment, verify merchandise quantities, organize shipping documentation, and help ensure packages are processed accurately and dispatched on schedule. Key Responsibilities Prepare clothing, accessories, and other merchandise for shipment. Pick and pack products according to customer orders and shipping instructions. Verify product descriptions, sizes, colors, and quantities before packaging. Print shipping labels, packing slips, and other required documentation. Organize outgoing packages by carrier, destination, and dispatch schedule. Receive incoming merchandise and compare deliveries with purchase records. Report damaged, missing, or incorrect products to the appropriate supervisor. Update shipment and inventory information in the store's tracking system. Maintain an organized shipping, receiving, and storage area. Coordinate with warehouse, sales floor, and management teams regarding merchandise movement. Follow company procedures for packaging, labeling, and shipment handling. Qualifications and Requirements Previous retail, warehouse, shipping, or inventory experience preferred. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory systems. Ability to read shipping labels and follow written instructions. Good attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Reliable attendance and professional communication.
