Retail Sales Associate / Liquor Store Clerk

Job Description Gold Label Wine & Liquor, a family-owned wine and spirits store in Beacon, NY, is looking for a dependable, friendly, and motivated Retail Sales Associate to join our team. This position starts at a minimum of 20 hours per week, with opportunities for additional hours based on performance, reliability, and business needs. Responsibilities Provide friendly, professional customer service. Operate the POS register and accurately process transactions. Assist customers with product selections and inquiries. Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and maintain product displays. Receive deliveries and assist with inventory management. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store. Verify customer identification and comply with New York State alcohol sales regulations. Assist with opening, closing, and daily store operations. Qualifications Retail or cashier experience preferred, but not required. Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to work independently and take initiative. Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 40 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation. Basic computer and POS skills preferred. Wine and spirits knowledge is a plus. Must meet applicable New York State age requirements for alcohol retail employees. Schedule Minimum 20 hours per week to start. Evening and weekend availability preferred. Additional hours may become available based on performance and store needs. Why Join Us?
