Retail Sales Associate/Cashier

Overview We are seeking a friendly and motivated Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs Conduct product demonstrations and explain features to enhance customer understanding Engage in upselling and suggest complementary items to increase sales Operate the POS system for transactions, including cash handling and processing payments accurately Maintain merchandising standards by organizing displays and ensuring product availability Provide knowledgeable assistance on technical products and answer customer inquiries Manage phone inquiries professionally, offering information and directing calls as needed Ensure the sales floor remains clean, organized, and welcoming throughout shifts Assist with inventory management, stock replenishment, and product restocking as required Uphold excellent customer service standards by addressing concerns promptly and courteously Skills Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus Experience in retail sales, cashiering, or merchandising preferred Knowledge of POS systems, cash handling, and basic math skills for transactions Ability to perform product demos and explain technical features confidently Customer service-oriented with a friendly demeanor and professional phone etiquette Effective time management and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently Ability to upsell products tactfully while maintaining a positive shopping experience Multilingual skills are advantageous for serving diverse customer bases Familiarity with retail sales techniques, including merchandising strategies and sales promotion methods This role is ideal for individuals passionate about retail, eager to develop their sales skills, and committed to delivering outstanding customer experiences.
