Our new location has 2,500 sq ft of retail space after relaunching our company as 100% women-owned. Our retail location will be open within “Zenith Basecamp”, a multi-level building that includes a glamping style hostel as well as Altitude, an elevated cocktail bar. Job Summary: We are seeking a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate to join our team and deliver exceptional customer service in a (sometimes) fast-paced retail environment. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for assisting customers with product selection, driving sales, maintaining store organization, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. You will play a key role in promoting our products, educating people about our "slow fashion” brands missions, contributing to a friendly, welcoming atmosphere in the store. This position is ideal for individuals seeking a role who can work independently and enjoys the outdoor recreation in Duluth, MN and surrounding areas. Qualifications: 1+ year of retail experience (preferred but not required) Part Time hours (10+/week or more) Flexibility working weekdays until 4-6pm and/or weekends Ability to work independently as one sales associate is typically scheduled at a time Key Responsibilities: Customer Service & Assistance Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products. Answer customer questions regarding products, store policies, and promotions. Provide knowledgeable recommendations based on customer preferences and needs. Ensure customers have a positive shopping experience and feel welcomed. Support Zenith Basecamp Guests experience and assist as needed. Sell guests add-ons as needed. Product Knowledge Stay informed about the store’s product offerings, including features, prices, and benefits. Demonstrate product features and explain their advantages to customers. Keep up with seasonal promotions, new arrivals, and sales to effectively communicate with customers. Sales Actively engage with customers to drive sales and meet daily or weekly sales targets. Suggest additional products to enhance the customer’s purchase. Use sales techniques to build rapport and encourage repeat business. Cash Handling & Checkout Process customer transactions accurately using the POS (Point of Sale) system. Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions in accordance with store policies. Provide correct change and receipts, and thank customers for their purchase. Stocking & Inventory Management Restock shelves, racks, and displays to ensure products are available and well-organized.
