Duties Implement planograms and visual merchandising strategies to optimize product displays and enhance store aesthetics Stock shelves accurately, ensuring proper pricing, labeling, and product placement in accordance with branding guidelines Manage inventory control through regular stock checks, stock replenishment, and manual handling of materials and products Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems for transactions including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store environment, including cleaning duties and material handling equipment operation Assist with remodeling or interior design projects to improve store layout and customer flow using schematics and visual design principles Communicate effectively with clients and team members to coordinate merchandising efforts and ensure excellent customer service Skills Proven supervising experience with leadership capabilities to train and develop team members Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a retail setting Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator for creating visual displays or promotional materials Knowledge of merchandising software, planogram implementation, and inventory management tools Excellent communication skills for client interaction, team collaboration, and store management tasks Multilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer bases effectively Experience with retail store operations including pricing strategies, retail math, cash handling, POS systems, and stock management Ability to perform manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting and ladder use safely; familiarity with material handling equipment operation is preferred Basic math skills for inventory counts, sales calculations, and pricing adjustments Knowledge of visual design principles for merchandising displays that attract customer attention Familiarity with remodeling projects or interior design concepts to enhance store aesthetics This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to make a tangible impact on retail environments while honing their leadership, merchandising, and customer service skills.
