Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products tailored to their needs Conduct engaging product demonstrations to educate customers about different strains, edibles, concentrates, and accessories Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for retail sales transactions and cash handling Manage cash register operations, including cash drawer handling and balancing at shift end Upsell products by identifying customer preferences and recommending complementary items Stock shelves, organize displays, and ensure the store is clean, inviting, and well-merchandised Maintain comprehensive knowledge of store products and current promotions to enhance customer engagement Handle phone inquiries professionally, providing information and directing calls appropriately Supervise or assist with inventory management, including stock replenishment and product demos for new items Follow all safety protocols and legal regulations related to cannabis sales and store operations Skills Proven experience with retail sales transactions using POS systems and cash register operations Strong communication skills with the ability to explain product features clearly and confidently Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer needs effectively Demonstrated supervising or leadership experience in retail or grocery store environments Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling, sales calculations, and inventory counts Knowledge of retail store product merchandising and stock management techniques Familiarity with phone etiquette for professional customer interactions over the phone or in person Experience conducting product demos to educate customers about various products Previous grocery store or retail experience is advantageous but not required This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment while helping customers discover quality cannabis products responsibly.
