We are preparing for our next stage of growth and we are looking for a proven Restaurant Systems & Operations Manager who knows how to build structure, not just manage shifts.
This role is for someone who has successfully built systems inside a restaurant before , SOPs, labor models, training frameworks, inventory controls, and operational infrastructure and can do it again.

What You’ll Be Responsible For
This is not just an operations role , this is a systems-building role.
You will:
Build & Implement Systems
- Develop and document SOPs for kitchen, front-of-house, opening/closing, prep, and cleaning
- Create labor scheduling systems that maintain target labor percentages
- Implement inventory tracking and food cost control systems
- Establish prep pars and production flow models
- Design onboarding and training modules for new hires
- Build accountability structures (checklists, audits, performance metrics)
Operational Leadership
- Lead and develop crew members and shift leads
- Improve speed of service without sacrificing quality
- Maintain high standards for food execution and visual presentation
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Monitor KPIs (labor %, food cost %, ticket times, guest satisfaction)
Culture & Brand Alignment
- Uphold Smash Akhs’ brand promise: premium, intentional, community-rooted

Who We’re Looking For
We are specifically looking for someone who:

Has 3+ years of restaurant management experience

Has successfully built or restructured systems in a restaurant before
- Understands labor cost control, food cost management, and operational KPIs
- Has experience scaling operations or opening new locations (strong plus)
- Is structured, detail-oriented, and process-driven
- Thinks long-term and strategically
- Can bring order, clarity, and accountability to a growing concept

- Inventory & food cost tracking stabilized
- Training pathway established
