Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Registered Pharmacy Technician to join our Pharmasave healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in pharmacy operations, patient care, and medical terminology, with a commitment to accuracy and efficiency. As a Registered Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting pharmacists by preparing medications, managing inventory, and providing exceptional service to patients. Duties Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescription medications accurately and efficiently. Manage medication inventory, including stock replenishment and proper storage procedures. Provide patient care support by answering medication-related questions and offering guidance under pharmacist supervision. Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations, safety standards, and confidentiality protocols. Utilize medical terminology effectively to interpret prescriptions and communicate with healthcare providers. Support medication administration processes for hospital or clinical settings, ensuring proper documentation. Experience Prior experience working as a pharmacy technician in community environment is highly desirable. Demonstrated proficiency in pharmacy technician responsibilities, including medication preparation and inventory management. Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to pharmacy operations and patient care. Experience supporting medication administration within healthcare settings is preferred. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals and patients. Knowledge of pharmacy Kroll software systems and electronic health records is advantageous. Certification or registration as a Pharmacy Technician according to local regulatory requirements is required or preferred.
